Dear Parents/Guardians:

On behalf of the Wingdale Elementary School Faculty and Staff, I would like to
take this opportunity to welcome you to the start of a new school year. I hope
you and your child are looking forward to the new year after a relaxing and
healthy summer.

They say that days are long and years go quickly, for me that was so true of last
year. It went by in a blink of an eye but was filled with many good memories
and achievements for the students of WES. I look forward to working with the
returning faculty and staff, as well as new members of the faculty.

Ms. Rachel DelDuco will be joining Wingdale as part our reading team as will
Ms. Miranda Fariello, who will be a member of our second grade team.

The home-school connection is a very important partnership and it is my hope
that we work together, along the faculty and staff to give your children the best
possible experience along their educational journey. Again this year, parents and
guardians are invited to have lunch with your child on Tuesdays and Thursdays
each week during the designated lunch times (attached) as well as to celebrate
birthdays, no matter the day of the week.

Additionally, I encourage you to attend the WES Curriculum Night, Thursday,
September 12th at 6:30 p.m. The faculty will share information with you
regarding your child’s schooling for the upcoming year.

I am proud to be the principal of Wingdale and to be part of your child’s
